Talking with Spirits

Talking with the Spirits

When I was around 12 or 13 years old I saved up my money and bought a Ouija Board from an ad in a Fate Magazine. My dad and I used it quite often. Many years later, after I started going to church with my husband, I got rid of my ouija board. I have regretted it ever since.
I have been looking all over for one, it used to be you could go into any store and there would be a stack of them along with all the other board games in the toy aisle. But for the past couple years or so they've been very hard to find unless you live near a store like Spencer's or an Occult store. I don't live near either and I don't order anything online anymore so I was pretty much out of luck for a while.
I finally found one in a store!! And it's Glow-in-the Dark!!
I'm hoping to have a chat with my dad. He died a few years ago and I miss him alot.

Hi Spooky!
Boy . . . you've just been blogging and blogging away!
Some time let us show you our "Talking Board". It is very pretty. You can also do this kind of divination with nothing more than a wine glass and letters on little pieces of paper. But, keep in mind, that this is a "low level doorway". In other words, you can easily attract nuisance spirits who will mess with you, and pretent to be your dad. As long as you know that! Stay in control! Otherwise - enjoy!

Thanks for the advice Kestrel, and yes, I know to stay in control. That was the first thing my Dad told me about Ouija Boards.
I'd like to make one myself sometime. One with a Halloween theme :-)
I think I've been wanting one like this for sentimental reasons. It's the same kind Dad and I used type of thing I guess.
